Hosting a show doesn't require expensive equipment or a state of the art studio to get started. In some instances a simple headset microphone and software will do a great job. Learn how easy it is to set your ministry up a streamline connection for others around the world to see, hear and enjoy.

Most of our host use this model available at Amazon. I use professional equipment in my auxillary studio and main studios to achieve a great sound for my broadcast. I found out that I could get some of the same quality from certain headsets that didn't require a mixer or auxillary interfaces. Recently I have been using the Microsoft Live Chat headset to record and host most of my shows. This has been a wonderful headset because of the simplicity and great sound quality. For the price its really great and affordable!!

I also like all the abilities that Sound Fourge gives to both the novice or professional editor. You will produce professional audio recordings with the ability to add music and commercials easily with this software.

If you want to have multiple hosts or guests on your show besides yourself. You will need a couple of microphones connected to a USB interface Digital Audio Sound Card. I use a Tascam model. There are many different ones in the market you can use like the Lexicon that I have installed in several churches for streaming services. It works great for interview with great response to mics.

Depending on how big you want to make your show you may also need an audio mixer to connect several microphones to the mixer than come out of mixer to Tascam.

Hosting a show takes time, commitment and work for everyone involved.  Here are some options for hosting a show:

1. PRERECORD- Make your shows using headset and software similar to the ones on this page. Create an MP3 (prefered) or Wave of your show than email them to us or upload to FTP server.   Most are host do this type of broadcast.  Then they pick a time slot and we broadcast the shows for them.  Because we have a recorded show we make them archives on our site.  We also rebroadcast their shows throughout the day as slots are vacant. There is no cost for airtime.  All time slots are subject to availability.

2. Live Event- Stream your own church service, event or show live using your intenet and encoder.  You will be the engineer and talent for each show.  You can broadcast at anytime you would like live via our Live Event page on this website.  You can also embed your player on your website.

Whichever option you decide send me an email to get you started on the air.
